That's not what I asked.

I asked you if you own any form of property, and did owning that property require someone else's justification or sign off that sure, they can see that you have a need for it, so ok, you're allowed to own it?

What if I told you you were in violation of the 2nd amendment, by not having a firearm.
The first part of the 2nd amendment, puts you into the Militia at birth. All militia are to be well regulated in the use of their arms and ready to go at a moments notice. You are in violation of that and the Militia Act.

Provide and Promote are not the same thing, but somewhere down the line that have conflated the two terms to mean the same.
One means give, the other means educate.
Promoting the general welfare, does not mean provide it.

I would say the 2nd amendment is even more anachronistic than I had previously perceived it.

What property would that be, where your right to purchase it is based on someone else's opinion of whether you need it or not?
