Kasich might have. (For the record, I was for him until he made it clear how much he was against abortion -- but that did not come out until later.)

Biden simply takes after Trump. Biden has observed how well doing that works for Trump.

Nor am I.

Look, Biden could step on his tie one hundred times and not come close to the verbally incontinent liar, grifter, draft dodging, porn star popping, low life in the white house. He's a decent man. Something Trump will never be.

But what's really sobering is that he'd be a wiser choice than most of the other Dems he's running against.

Nobody but Trump can beat Trump. All he's gotta do to win is keep faith with his supporters.

I think Kasich would have won. He was moderate enough to appeal to both sides. I was considering voting for him if he had won the primary and I'm pretty liberal. I also was unaware of his stance on abortion at the time. But I'm also not a one-issue voter and I might have overlooked it, not sure. Any republican is going to be (or pretend to be) pro-life and abortion isn't going to become illegal anyway.

Today's latest......

"Biden is asked to name his favorite historical figure who was not a president."

He names Jefferson and Kennedy ..............
