I am thinking of "The Godfather" book and movies where there is a such a chain in place that it would be almost impossible for the person who ordered the kill to be actually convicted. Although the Jeffrey Epstein case was the trigger for the following question, I am not referring to that specifically when asking the following:
Do you think that it is probable that at least some of the very wealthy and powerful have frequently gotten away with murdering their enemies?
I think the answer to that question is probably Yes, but I am very willing to listen to other opinions.
(I put this in P&OC instead of True Crime because until someone is convicted of murder, I don't think it can actually be considered a true crime.)
