I usually tolerate pollen allergens, but this year I am suffering along with many other. I asked by allergists, a doctor, why pollen allergies have become so severe. He told me one reason is the much higher than normal CO2. Perhaps you are not bothered by pollen but there is no denying that pollen is on the rise.

Great question.

I wonder sometimes if climate activists want to run the world like a giant HVAC system. We should modify the atmosphere to hit a Goldilocks level.

Fer sure, if glaciers were advancing towards London and New York, they'd be calling for burning coal like mad.

You do know that human activity, mainly poor farming techniques, is what caused the dust bowl to form?

Thing is they dont know. No one knows and giving politicians a mandate in attempts to find out isn't going to end well for planet earth.
everything the state does is politicized, so team D will do it their way to the benefit of their cronies and then team R will come along and change it to their benefit. What should be done (if anything) will be lost in the shuffle.
Its every damn thing the govt does and what is funnier still is you see the same people who loath the very existence of a President Donald Trump, failing to realize once govt is empowered to manage the climate there will likely be someone worse than him who eventually takes his place. It's as if they dont realize what govt is or how it works. If they truely cared and understood they'd be demanding govt stay out of it alltogether.
Its the most mind boggling thing to watch.

That’s a drought. The drought turned into what was known as the dust bowl because of poor dry weather farming techniques. Human activity can and does affect our environment and atmosphere.

Actually, I was going to say the problem is a make-believe one that can only be fixed with a make-believe solution.

Bonus points for hiding the taxes by only applying them to wholesale industries.

It will destroy our economy by making us noncompetitive, but the low-information types won't have a clue, so why not.

It rains during droughts. Human activity fueled erosion which resulted in the dust bowl.
