I don't think anyone said none of the victims wanted to meet Trump. But that he could give a thumbs up and be smiling while he and Melania held the baby is the depth of sickness. Who does that? Why isn't he comforting people instead of making this another photo op? They are soul-less.

The infant survived because his mother shielded him and she was hit and killed. The infant’s father was shot and killed as he jumped to shield his wife and baby.
Show me an article where it claims no victim's family or survivor wanted to meet with Trump. None of them at all. Otherwise, you are skewing what was reported and what was said.

What I heard reported was that none of the hospitalized victims wanted to meet trump. The orphan had already been discharged. The uncle, who is a trump supporter, brought the baby back. Not like the baby had a say.

Thinking the uncle was delighted to meet Trump and Melania. The photo will likely be proudly displaced in his home. It’s a private matter.
I don’t understand why Melania’s office did not note that the grin and thumbs up thing was an awkward optic, BEFORE releasing a photo of a private moment to the public.
