Great, let’s teach to normalize degeneracy.

I had no idea sally dug rug, and it makes no difference. Pedo’s love children. Beware. They go where children go.

No it's not. That would mean that most people are LGBT, or the "average" person is LGBT. Only 1% - 3% are LGBT, so to say it is "normal" is just another LIE by the Left.

Well, straights who indulge in adultery aren't degenerates, are they?

Yes, it is normal in that it is typical, standard, expected, etc., even if its not widespread. It also exists in nature outside of the human race. Also, its closer to 5% of the population, at least in the United States, though I actually think its higher, but "shame" of admitting that you're LGBT on these surveys and in general (in part due to narrow minded thinking) has likely surppresed numbers a bit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_d..._United_States

Still, for the sake of argument: let's assume that its not normal. How is teaching about LGBT rights and treating people with respect harmful to you or others? I've still yet to hear an answer to that one.

So is being an adulterer promoted in our schools? Do they read to our kids as "adulterers" in our public libraries. All of which are publicly funded by the taxpayer?

A reason why it can be so hard to have more LGBT education is when they have all these gender terminologies. One would think that male, female, intersex, trans man, trans woman, and asexual/agender would be enough.

You realize gender identity and sexual orientation are two different things, right?

LGBTQ curriculum now to be taught in Illinois schools.
Did anyone bother to read the article? This is not an "LGBTQ curriculum"; what Illinois is saying is that awareness of LGBTQ issues will be included in the daily curriculum.

No doubt some of you think this means that all Illinois kindergartners will be "turned". Oy ...

You didn't read the article, either.

Instead of teaching this nonsense why don't they return to a curriculum that actually teaches kids life skills like cooking, handling credit, balancing a checkbook on a budget, changing a tire etc...
I didn't learn any of that in school, aside from cooking. And the boys were completely left out of that class.

Today's teens are no more impressionable than you are. And how is acknowledging that gay people exist in everyday society "advancing a political agenda"?

That's just it; there isn't a "curriculum just for them". The OP was disingenuous - or outright misleading - when titling this thread. Read the link.

Some of us are referring to parochial schools. And when properly vetted, the curriculum isn't "almost the same."

Believe it.
