Personally it feels like a load off my chest once I stopped supporting Trump AND never supporting the democrats....I don't feel the need to defend the idiotic policies of the past month or so about gun grabbing etc,red flag laws, trying to defend VERY LITTLE action on the border and not much else I can say I am glad I voted for him for. I had VERY VERY high hopes in the beginning and it looked like we were headed that way in the beginning but IMO Trump is a BS artist and a very good one at that...I don't hate him,I don't support him either...I think those that supported him and still support him are being taken for a ride simply because they hate the left so much anyone is better. I remember the same thing happening when Bush and Obama was president....it just feels so much easier and better to be disgusted by both sides and politicians on both sides...I don't think EITHER party will ever do what's best for American's.
It amazes me that some people think a president can do whatever he wants. Despite what Obama thought with his "pen and phone", they can't just do whatever the hell they want.
I do NOT agree with these Red Flag laws that Trump is supporting - I can't believe he's actually supporting such horse carp.
However, Trump has had a lot of people get in the way of what he has been wanting to do. Not only is the fake news media crying over nonsense like 2 scoops of ice cream, throwing food at Koi fish, and feeding burgers to sports teams, he had to deal with that insipid, useless pile of cow manure Paul Ryan. He's had to deal with Mitch McConnell and his bi-polar actions. He's had to deal with Lindsey Graham not supporting him - although the stupidity of the left with the Kavanaugh hearings took care of that. He's had to deal with career politician wannabes who will say anything to get reelected - even if it means whining about Trump.
The one thing that Dems do is stick together. Even the 4 idiots of the apocalypse haven't received much beyond Nancy Pelosi kind of laughing at them, because the Dems stick together.
The Republicans? They don't always stick together. They talk a good talk on the floor, but then go on news stations or social media and stab their own in the back to make themselves look better.
And then you've got all of the butthurt lefties who sit on the benches in various courts and try to stop every last thing Trump has been trying to do.
To act like any president can just waltz into the White House and do whatever he wants is not understanding politics or government. The president is not a dictator. We have a House and a Senate, and we have courts.
If you don't want to support him anymore, that's fine. But at least when you stop supporting someone, it's because you understand he can't just do whatever he wants when you want it to happen.
I'm disappointed somewhat in Trump, and more so the Republicans, but don't entirely blame him.
No matter who or what you vote in, the open border globalists/imperialists always win and get their way.
America has been made into a fake country, nothing much more than an economic zone mostly in the interests of the wealthiest.
