Nothing to worry about then and no need for British defence collabotation or US Forces in Europe or Nato.

Germany can look after it's own defence as can Eastern Europe.

Seriously kids -- this is not complicated.

You have to be naive to think that the USA sets up military bases around the world soley to protect the rest of the world.

Are you really all that naive?
Britain is able to protects its interests with its navy. We don't need a land base to protect ours.

The UK has some troops left in Europe but post No-Deal Brexit, it would be wise to remove all forces from Europe and to concentrate on building up naval forces to protect the country and it's trading routes including the North Atlantic link to North America.

Perhaps a little off-topic, but I’m curious why you feel the North Atlantic trading route to North America needs the protection of the British navy. Protection from whom? Pirates?

Defence planning is carried and preperation is always carried out in relation to all possible scenarios, and Russia and China have now formed a close defence alliance in the shape of the SCO, and both have significant forces and the SCO now reguarly carries out joint military exercises.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization champions a new model of expanded regional cooperation - Bloomberg

In terms of the Russians they have alwats had a major submarine fleet, which could easily be used to stop trade or cut communications, whilst resoucres in the Arctic may see a much greater military presense in the North Atlantic and Arctic regions.

The very idea of a transatlantic force relies on reinforements across the North Atlantic, so the North Atlantic is at the heart of the alliance and has played an important role in terms of both world wars, although more especially WW2 when u-boats tried to starve the UK in to submission.

Furthermore as an Island, it has always been in Britain's own national interest to have good naval assets, just as it's in Germany's national interest to have a strong Army and lots of armoured and tank assets rather than just relying on the US.
