Kinfe crime is falling, however this is not because of Khan it's because of new sopecialist violence reduction units and more stop and search by the police themselves, indeed it is the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police that makes operational decisions and not Khan, and police funding comes from both central Government and local council taxes.

The new Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also recently announced another 20,000 police officers and 10,000 extra prison places, as well as even greater stop and search powers for the police.
