Go figure.
It's strange. In local groups here you can see alt-right folks making fun of Antifa saying their weapons are their dildos or whatever and are generally insist they are incapable of fighting.

But when a fight breaks out they insist the super aggressive Antifa started it.

Then last time they made a big case of saying some unarmed guy was saving a man in a sundress and got attacked and bloodied by Antifa. But then photos show him charging at people with a baton.

Yes, the homeless problem in the area mostly happened after the 2008 downturn. I haven't been down there recently. Before then though I know it was a nice place.

A rare site, mostly limited to Charlottesville.

Admittedly, if you view a US flag as a Nazi flag, you're absolutely correct.

Extra bonus points for the other Nazi flags (Don't Tread On Me's, Betsy Ross flags, the odd Confederate battle flag).

Kekistan flags are thrown in to confuse those watching the march on CNN

Portland isn't bracing for the far right rally, they are bracing for the far left counter protestors who usually are violent.

To be fair, California has it's own variants. Everyone knows about SF, but check out Santa Cruz sometime.

There's a good local blog that's worth looking at. Google for 'Santa Mierda'.

A good source of pics will tend to be the Facebook [town] looks like s*** groups (where [town] is Portland/Seattle/etc), it appears to be a trending name.

Weather is pleasant enough to live outdoors year round without freezing or frying to death. There's 4k homeless in Portland and 3k in Atlanta, not all that big a difference considering Portland has 160k more people than Atlanta.

I would hope that everyone knows this already, but when a street army is on your side you tend to overlook their enthusiasm. There's always that one time that Team Red was overly aggressive.

I guess what it all boils down to is whether you'd rather have a nest of Antifa's as next door neighbors or a Proud Boy construction worker. For all I know, people have an innate tendency towards one or the other.

Proud Boy construction workers?

Too funny.

Check out the videos of Charlottesville marchers. How many construction workers were mixed in with that collection of spindly arms and pot bellies?

Hot Dog Hut let one guy go and several others lost their jobs, but none were construction jobs.
