The deficit is a culmination of bad deals struck by previous presidents which will be thankfully
undone; from Nafta to Coal mining. Thankyou Mr. President Trump. Let's all return to a prosperous

Your reasoning isn't anything but pompom waving without a lick of evidence to support your opinion. Pseudointellectual babble about deficits? You don't have a clue, do you you?

lol. yeah, seacove's hatred for trump forces him to cry crocodile tears for US farmers, then minutes later he wants them to suffer horribly due to the fact that they probably voted for trump.

it's hysterical.

You won't see many farmers voting for Trump again. Most of the people I know who voted for Trump have agreed that doing so was a sad mistake. They will not vote for Trump again.

I believe that not only should we vote against Trump but all the republican elects who have kept silent while Trump has trashed our Constitution.

Trump is to America what Hitler was to Germany.

Your statement indicates a clear ignorance of history and a blatant contempt of the people who lived and died during that period....

I generally buy my produce at a local Amish Farmers Market in the Spring, Summer, and Fall which is only open two days a week. Needed to buy butternut squash and eggplant so went to my local Walmart instead.

Taking off the stickers on them they did not read Product of USA, but Product of PENNSYLVANIA. Surprised me, but sure fine with me. Support your (very) LOCAL Farmers.

Farmers have enjoyed elevated market prices exporting to China for over a decade now. When I imported goods and was familiar with the tariff schedule through 2007, I paid 1.9-2.9% in tariffs for stuff from Japan. If I was in China importing USA goods it would have been tariffed at 16-17%. It sickened me when I found that out, and it's been really lopsided for a long time!
Farmers grew dependent upon, and catered to the demand from China in crop selection. Even though the tariff structure between the US and China is completely lopsided and unfair as a percentage and with the nearly $500 billion deficit annually, China felt obligated to poke us in the eye (for about the 14th time) by retaliating and placing additional tariffs on our exported crops. This leaves the farmers out on a limb during this transition, in the coming years they will be able to replant crops to fill demand in other markets and won't require subsidies. It has to be considered as short term pain, for the future economic longevity of our countries economy....which of course I just lost all the liberals right there.
