That push for tariffs is deflecting the root problems of the U.S. doing business with China, and that's not doing nearly enough to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. to begin lessening the reliance on China for product.

I purchased several items from Indiegogo and Kickstarter lately and have seen a common theme, that being all these startups are having their products manufactured in China because it's cost restrictive in the states with costs of doing business (insurance etc). Not enough tax breaks and kickbacks to startups to build in America. It's sad, and focusing on tariffs does nothing for our future of a healthy self-sufficient country.

And I wouldn't pay for you advice anyways

You were powned.suckx to be you.

Trumplings wouldn't care if he shot someone on 5th Ave. They won't care now, esp with some trump farmer bailout welfare since he basically screwed their markets for several years if not permanently.

Plus him and fellow moron Peter Navarro basically admitted what we all knew.... We the US consumers pay the tariffs at the end of the day

tariffs help and are needed

if you buy American..you wont pay

if you want china junk..be prepared to pay

an import tariff is a good thing

how about this question

why is Apple (an American company) manufacturing all its products in china, and not the Silicon Valley???? why should apple be allowed to import its foreign made products into the USA for free??? why is Apple screwing Americans, selling phones at $700+ a pop, while they are making them for 80 cents by paying slave wages to Chinese and not American wages to Americans??

I, and most educated Americans, want the iPhone/ipad made in America,... Apple is an American company, it should be making its product here, using an American workforce, made by Americans, for Americans @ American wages

that is the point of these tariffs, to reverse the outsourcing from the globalist liberal policies of "freetrade"

the key to these tariffs, not the country of origin, but that American companies have outsourced our labor force

why should GE (an American company HQ'd in Boston) make all its alarm clocks etc in Mexico and Malaysia???
think about it
median USA hourly wage is 23-25/hr
median Mexico wage 160/week

and you wonder why GE makes all its alarm clocks in Mexico.... and PAYS ZERO to import them to the USA... do you think that is really fair??

why should GM (an American company HQ'd in Detroit, MI) make all its vehicles in Mexico???
think about it
GM assembly plant average hourly wage USA hourly wage is 45/hr
median Mexico wage 160/week

and you wonder why GM moved its assembly plants to Mexico.... and PAYS ZERO to import them to the USA... do you think that is really fair??

why should Apple (an American company HQ'd in Cupertino, California, ) make all its iphines, ipads, etc in china
think about it
median USA hourly wage is 23-25/hr
median china wage 228/week

and you wonder why Apple makes all its electronics in China and not the Silicon Valley.... and PAYS ZERO to import them to the USA... do you think that is really fair??

trump is trying to fix the screwup of the globalist liberals

So you're saying forget about looking at the problem from the inside out with providing incentives, tax breaks, whatever to provide Companies the financial ability to manufacture in the U.S., but instead just play a tariff war with another country which provides nothing towards actually making better Made In America. Companies move because there isn't nearly enough being done to help Companies stay.

The funny part is that US cannot produce everything that China does (or even most of it), there are more jobs than applicants NOW, and you want to add more jobs? That makes no sense.

So we tariff China. Most of those jobs do not come back here, they went to Vietnam and Thailand.

Make South East Asia Great Again? SEAGA - that has a nice ring to it.

My experience with Chinese kitchen appliances has been so bad, that I've been buying old US made stuff at garage sales. 2 toaster ovens have stopped working, the switch broke on my electric can opener that was 3 months out of warranty, and the toaster burns the toast one time and the next time it pops up not nearly done on the same setting. Chinese junk, done with it.
