I most curious as to those that had originally been against guns or disinterested before making the investment.
I know that a lot of gun sales were to gun owners due to the fears of government climate ,but this is just to get an idea of those that responded to the current trends.
One does not have to say why or what, but only that they did.
I did not buy any fire arms in the last 10 years . ( except air guns)

I bought a lot but then it started back in the 70s. I will say I bought my first AR when they started talking bans. The ban happened but it didn't ban anything so there's that.....

Not even close.

I was gifted a shotgun on my 15th birthday, IIRC.

I bought my first handgun shortly after I turned 21. That was nearly 24 years ago.

I'm absolutely for gun ownership by those who want to exercise their constitutional right.

But I have never purchased one myself.

I have had guns (like most people I assume) since I was a kid and have continued to own them.

Same here. Got my first hunting rifle in 1956 at age 8.

I've never personally owned a gun; however, there have always been several guns in my homes, all my life, that my father and husband owned. I don't want my own gun.

that being said, I regularly shoot my husband's guns at the gun range because I need to know how to use them in case of emergency and learned to respect, handle, and shoot handguns and rifles at around 11 years old.

I'm afraid of guns. I hate hunting. my feelings are irrelevant. guns are necessary for protection.

No. My gun owning NRA husband has been trying for the past 45 years to get me shoot and get my own gun. No repeating my life threatening experiences. When we were newlyweds and I went shooting with him just to please him, I would shake and shut my eyes when pulling the trigger. He would scream at me to stop doing that, and I was only shooting paper targets and bottles; not another human or animal.

Want me to throw something at someone attacking me? Yeah, been there, done that.
