I cannot over-repeat myself with regard to gun violence; Charleston Demonstrates: You ARE Your Brother's Keeper; Mental Health, Not Guns, Root of Problem. While this involved a relationship gone bad rather than a crazed psychotic, a Plastic surgeon (was) arrested in Tuckahoe with large cache of weapons, threatens to kill estranged wife: DA. Basically, the assailant-in-waiting was at a Tuckahoe (suburban NYC) bar, boasting of the intended carnage. Now, he's held in a Westchester County jail, without bail. There will be no headlines about a bloodbath.

Remember, You ARE Your Brother's Keeper.

Sounds like this prevented a domestic violence incident, (NOT a mass shooting).

Ive noticed this happening alot more these days, there was a recent article about police arresting this guy, which they claimed, prevented a HUGE terrorist attack, but come to find out, it was just some kid in his early 20s, who was all talk....he had made some specific threats involving senators and congressman and Washington DC in general, but then again, this guy wasnt even employed, lived at his parents house, didnt have a car! LOL

It was funny to hear police, talking like they had prevented the next 9-11...but the article didnt even mention how this guy would have even made it to Washington, much less carry out what he said he wanted to do, nor how he would acquire the weapons needed for such a thing (when he had no job and no money).

Sounds to me, the kid was ALL talk, he didnt have the means to even reach the destination...meanwhile, the police that arrested him are gloating and enjoying lots of praise for what they prevented from happening! LOL

That kid may not have had the means to do anything. In this case they found a cache of weapons in his car, parked near his estranged wife's house. Why a cache of weapons to kill one person? Sounds like he wanted to go out in a "blaze of glory."

Also, someone in their early 20's is an adult. Last I checked if one even jokes about having a bomb at an airport they will be treated as a terrorist. Those threats can land you in a world of hurt. They are not funny.
