They don't want all semis. They want ALL guns.

They are just doing it incrementally.

AR15's are a good starting point but it should include M14's and many semi-automatic handguns. They should broaden the ban to other semi-auto guns.

Why? They are owned by law abiding citizens for the most part. Enforce existing laws. Why punish the law abiding only to disarm them and make them defenseless? You just want people more vulnerable and defenseless against criminals.

We, meaning the pro 2nd Amendment crowd, have offered numerous ideas for curbing violence. The anti gun crowd isn’t interested, because none of our ideas involve banning scary black rifles. On the flip side, not one of the anti gun crowd’s ideas have made a dent in violence. You should be proud of yourselves, though. The largest piece of anti gun regulation in the last half a century has ensured that anyone who wants to shoot children has a safe place to do so.

Why are you talking about something that can't happen, didn't happen last time. I bought em all through the "ban". You can include it to be all weapons and we'll STILL. BE. BUYING. THEM.

This is like watching a rerun of an old movie where you know how it ends.

The M14 is already banned since it has full auto capability - the M1A is the civilian version, a semi auto rifle.

Semi-auto handguns are the majority of weapons in the US and have already been adjudicated by the Supreme Court as being under 2nd amendment protections, banning would require changing the constitution - good luck with that.

Fairy dust. We've posted FACTS over and over that a ban doesn't ban anything and they STILL keep beating that dead horse.

I'm really beyond any more words with these types. I bought almost all of my semi auto rifles during a period considered a "ban". It's purely symbolic. Even our buddy TravisT gets it.

They keep saying they want to ban something but what they really want is elimination and would require an amendment change, confiscation and probably outright civil war.

Tomato vs tomato.

Nobody cares about your silly difference. If it looks like a gun, it ought to be banned.
