The key word is "recorded" The only somewhat reliable temperatures records go back to 1880.

Ever hear of tipping points?

Some of us actually care what happens to our children's children's children.

So, using science (6% of Scientists ID as Republican, so keep that data in mind also) are you suggesting that the fact that these period MAY have existed means that the current data which aligns almost perfectly with CO2 is.....just a mistake?

Is the germ theory also bunk? I can definitely show you miracles.....or at least maybe convince you of faith healing.

We all know about the Ice Age (well, many Republicans who believe the world isn't that old may not) - that is not the article under discussion....

Next thing...I'm waiting for this....is we will told Cities don't get many degrees warmer due to their buildup...

Thinking is hard....complex. When a nomad had to move on in ancient times it was do or die. Let me phrase it another way....

THIS IS THE HOTTEST TIME SINCE MOST OF US ARE STATIONARY AND WE HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO AND NEED VAST AMOUNTS OF SUPPORT SYSTEMS ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SURVIVE.

Can I at least get an AMEN to that so a decent conversation can start somewhere? Or, is is possible that there were 7+ Billion people and these systems around before?

Gotta start somewhere...and since basic things don't seem to be so basic any longer, we have to start at primary school levels.

See my post above.

Do you really not think it's different when we all hang by a thread as opposed to moving on....or accepting mass death and starvation as normal?

Think about it.

You really think that one degree warmer will result in mass death and starvation?
