Over a hundred training programs were offered. They didn't want them. So now I'm supposed to support them? No thanks.
They didn’t want them because none of those jobs will pay anywhere close to what a coal miner makes. There are mine foremen making $120k per year; other jobs in the mines start as high as $60k per year. That’s a lot of money for a low cost of living area, especially with just a high school diploma.

Stop trying to act like the miners are just dumb for not wanting to be retrained. It’s not such a simple solution as you think it is.

So still no comparison by the leftists of Copenhagen to Baltimore. Two cities of the same size.

What is your comparison? Copenhagen, in a country with democratic socialism, free healthcare, free college tuition and strict gun control, is a prosperous, clean, safe city. Baltimore, in a country with crony capitalism, a byzantine healthcare system and no gun control is largely rundown, poor and crime-infested.

Once again ... Copenhagen is a liberal city. You are admitting that highly liberal Denmark/Copenhagen produces excellent results, but you don't even seem to be aware of it.

It's simple to explain. The more guns the more opportunities for instances to use guns to commit murder.

Denmark would be a nice, prosperous place whether it was liberal or conservative in policies. I'd say it would be nicer with conservative policies. But it wouldn't be a nice place with mass immigration, and open borders. Same thing holds true in America. If you want a nice place just don't have open borders.

So, speaking as an expert on why places are the way they are, could you turn Baltimore into Copenhagen by having strict gun control, free healthcare, and less 'crony' capitalism (I'm assuming that the city government is on the up and up)?

How much money do you need?

I'll sit back and watch. It'll be the show of the century.
