Jesus, we have an emotional kid running the United States of America. You must have thicker skin than that.

As I wrote, Trump is a disgrace to this nation.
It no longer boggles my mind. I get how some people could justify and even cheer on what President Trump is doing, in this particular situation. Many staunch supporters are on Trump's side for the sake of sticking it to those who oppose Trump. It's about "sticking it to the left". Many people feel threatened by leftists, or anyone who doesn't support Trump. By seeing people like you and me (and I'm not much of a leftists, more of an independent) call Trump to task on this, we're looked at as laughingstocks. It's basically a culture war.

For all of Trump's bluster, Trump is nothing more than an emotionally stunted little boy trying to measure up to his father. We, the American people, are prisoners of his insecurities and the havoc he is wreaking. Exhibit A is this Greenland farce.

Or, Greenland could get independence from Denmark. That would be even better.

I was being facetious.

I know that. I was adding a touch of realism to it. I'm thinking if there would be no better affront to Trump's endeavour than to have Greenland be independent. Then Greenland would have no chance to be bought.

Did he just decide by himself without consultation with Congress or the State Dept to begin a negotiation to buy foreign territory? Just mind boggling. Initially I thought this was a joke. And then the temper tantrum and cancellation of the trip. Just hope we donít have a national or international crisis somewhere that requires sound judgement and mental stability. I honestly canít believe this stuff is really happening.

Honestly, I don't think they could pull it off. The population simply isn't big enough. 56k? I suppose they should get the opportunity to vote on it now and again.

All of the handwringing about Trump's offer is a crackup. It's the third time (at least) that an offer has been tendered.
