Greenland isn't part of the European continent. However, who is to say that the Greenlandic people would want to be part of the USA? How about you let the Greenlandic people make that decision for themselves. Something else. The Inuits in Greenland are native to Greenland. And if we purchase Greenland, we would be just as imperialist as the Danish that you're accusing.
You do realize that Denmark had a cushy relationship with Adolf Hitler, don't you?

Sheesh...has TDS gotten you guys so much that you would side with a country that once gave Hitler hiding?

Some call it "occupied". It's what happens when you're a small country and big countries lose their heads and start thinking like this:

I'd ask what "hiding" means, but something tells me it'd be futile.

I guess that's what being gutlessly "neutral" gets you, eh?

There was some conspiracy nonsense about a submarine and Hitler making it to Denmark. No evidence to support it, of course.

A Night of Watching is a terrific story about how the the Danes smuggled nearly 8,000 Danish Jewish people out of the country before Hitler's occupation force could round them up and send them to concentration camps.

That post about the Danes being Nazi sympathizers is bogus BS.

Alan Dulles was cozy with the Nazis as well. When did Denmark give Hitler hiding I need to know? Was it before or after he killed himself in a bunker?

Allen Dulles, the Nazis, and the CIA

What does that have to do with anything I've said?

What would be astonishing, were it to come from anyone else, is Trump’s utter lack of any self-awareness. He’s spent the last four years lying about, belittling, and slandering anyone he sees as not on Team Trump...but when the Danish PM dares to call (correctly) his proposal to buy Greenland”absurd,” he “postpones” a state visit to a long-time ally, making it clear that the reason was her “nasty” tone.

That’s not even one-dimensional chess; it’s tic-tac-toe played by a monkey.
