If any country in North America could lay claim to Greenland, you realize that Canada would be much more 'natural' than the U.S., right? After all, they're right there, and we would even have to cross Canada to get to Greenland.

I support Trump in buying Greenland.

The Chinese are already one step ahead of us. They have set up joint ventures to mine Uranium and Rare Earth on Greenland. Already controlled 90% of the world's Rare Earth output, their further stake in Greenland will consolidate China's monopoly on Rare Earth.

Russia's navy sails through the narrow water between Iceland and Greenland. US direct control of Greenland can reinforce our strategic advantage against Russia.

There are very few pieces of vast land with such a tiny population which makes the deal less complicated. Everyone has a price, so is every piece of land. If terms are right and every stakeholder is happy, why not?

We will regret if one day Greenland hoists Chinese flag.

You guys know I was joking, right?

I've got some Danish blood (and HUGE Mikkel. Kessler fan), I just wish they wouldn't flush their beautiful culture right down the toilet overrunning their land with foreigners.

Is it? A sovereign country?

Gosh, I guess we should give Alaska to Canada, and Hawaii to China?

Why are these stupid comments by a stupid president given any credibility, this is not rational behavior. Maybe someone can provide an example of a president offer to by a country out of the blue.

Trump tried to buy Atlantic City NJ and that was a colossal failure.

Why would anyone think he could make a go of Greenland. You would have to be a moron to think think that would work.

Sheesh...has TDS gotten you guys so much that you would side with a country that once gave Hitler hiding?
Actually, Denmark declared itself neutral. And then Germany took Denmark in Operation Weserübung. And then Denmark went until military occupation.

Oh, and read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rescue_of_the_Danish_Jews

If being occupied by Nazi Germany is what you call "a cushy relationship with Adolf Hitler", then maybe it's you who needs the history lesson, not me.

Furthermore, what does any of this have to do with Trump trying to buy Greenland? And this is not a rhetorical question. This requires an answer.

If not wanting Trump to buy Greenland is TDS, then I'm proud to have it.
