That's precisely what this is. Sure, most of the Trump supporters will pretend not to see what's happening in the stock market and will call it "fake news," but there are REAL signs that the economy is going to slow down pretty rapidly and possibly slide into a recession in the next 6-10 months, which would be the absolute worst case scenario for Trump.

So to distract Americans from talking about the economy, what does Trump do? Announce that he wants to buy Greenland.

Well, Greenland has already responded. An official for the Greenland Gov't says "Greenland is not for sale."

Trump has probably been reached by industries anxious and ready to exploit Greenland's natural resources and ruin their environment and their native cultures. If they are smart the people of Greenland and Denmark will reject any such idea.

If they hypothetically wanted to merge with another country, Canada would be a more logical choice anyway.

But Greenland?

Maybe his Moscow deal with Putin has gone sour.

So our infrastructure is crumbling, we're headed into an inflationary recession, we have mass shootings every week and Trump wants to buy a country that is not for sale.

Either he needs to go back to real estate and leave the governing to the qualified, or we need to think about the 25th Amendment. This guy is not playing with a full deck.

I think the people of Greenland and the Danish moght have something to say.

How stupid do you have to be to think you can just buy Greenland.

Very. You'd have to be very stupid. Donald Trump is very stupid.

I am sure that after all the natural resources had been extracted it would make a lovely golf course.
