How is anything from an “Anonymous Source” news anyways? If I call up cnn and tell them lies will they report that too?

You two must feel kinda silly now, what with Larry Kudlow making it official.

I don't feel anything about this story. Nothing. Like a normal person should.

It's a nothing burger just like 95% of the trash the Fake News puts out as "news" in a given week.

Hey, why not? The US will now own lands that are at the northern hemisphere flanking both sides of North America. And, since South Africa is kicking off all of the Dutch from their farms, we can settle them on Greenland to start harvesting the land.

My mistake. I slipped and used Fake News in the traditional sense of something that is actually untrue. Where in modern discourse, it has come to mean something that's perfectly true, but that Trump and his followers would really rather not address.

Trump’s base knows that the Brooklyn Bridge is not for sale. That ruse is so 20th century. So Trump had to make up something else for them to bite into.

The US needs less territory. We don't need Greenland. We should be trying to sell some areas to pay off our debt. We should look into selling Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Guam.

I would really think about this. You, me, and so many other people do not support this move. And furthermore, alot of us are not Trump supporters. There is one thing to really look at. Look at how much attention Trump is getting. And furthermore, look how much support alot of Trump supporters(the most loyal Trump supporters, not the "hold your nose and pull the Trump lever" types") are getting. Many people get off on people like you and me being very critical of Trump. This is not a geopolitical war we're dealing with. It's a culture war. People like you and me expressing disdain for Trump makes many of his supporters laugh.

While Trump certainly should not buy Greenland, many of the persons are on board with Trump for one reason: It drives his opponents crazy. It's a cultural war. Many people know that Trump isn't completely right. It doesn't matter. Some of the things President Trump says, many of his supporters want to hear it.
