Obama (D) got it down to $492 billion.

Trump (R) raised it back up to $833 billion.

This is not media spin. These are the facts.

The economy was cooking the during the Clinton administration.

Things took a turn for the worse during the Bush administration.

Got back on track during Obama's administration. Thins have stayed on basically the same trajectory until Trump started f'ing around with tariffs and that payday loan tax scam, which had nothing to do with Democrats.

The last Republican President to leave the nation in better economic shape than he found it was Eisenhower.
So you think it is the President that controls spending? I would suggest you go back and read the constitution!
Bill Clinton had a Republican congress for a good part of his time!
Bush administration inherited a minor recession and had to deal with 9/11 but overall did "ok" until the Democrats controlled congress and the economy crashed.....coincidence?
The repubs in congress are now spending like democrats. I'm sure the dems will reign in spending....right?

Out of how many businesses? Hundreds if I recollect correctly! Not a bad record in the minds of most businessmen. How many businesses have you built/owned?

Obama raised national debt from 10 trillion to almost 20 trillion

Newt gave us a surplus when Bill was Pres, nancy gave us gigantic budget deficits with Bush as Pres, Boehner lowered nancy's budget deficits when Obama was Pres, and now Nancy is jumping up the deficits with your great Orange Master as Pres.

The key to saving this economy is more tax cuts and running up the deficit even more. This is typically the republican plan, and it works every time.

Well, doesn't work every time.

In fact, it never works.

Nonetheless, Republicans are not one to give up easily. Like Charley Brown and the football, they're sure that this time it will.

Obama inherited an economy in a freefall compliments of Republican Bush.

He turned it around, no thanks to Republicans who opposed him at every turn, into the longest run of economic and job growth in recent history.

With the payday loan tax scam and the his tariff war with China, Trump has doubled the federal deficit.

Like him wanting to buy Greenland. It kind of fits in with some of his past. Purchase something and watch it melt away.

He turned it around? Perhaps you can explain to us that have not been enlightened what Obama specifically did to turn it around! No other people, not congress but Obama! By the way it was the worst recovery ever after a recession....you giving him credit for that?

Your link from Politifact is correct, but the text you typed is not.

As the Politifact link mentions, companies that Trump has helmed/controlled have declared bankruptcy.

Donald Trump 'a man' has never declared bankruptcy. Donald Trump has never declared personal bankruptcy, which isn't the same thing as companies he helmed/controlled having declared beankruptcy.
