I blame the liberal leftist media for stoking the fears of the people.

With a Trump presidency, Congress practically doesn't exist. He has used war powers, executive orders and every conceivable machination to rule as a dictator. These are the kinds of games Trump is playing with the economy:

"One key thing to know is that the emergency powers he is using evolved from the need for the President to act with decisive authority during war, specifically World War I."

Where Trump's 'emergency power' on tariffs comes from

Yes. Trump has been patting himself on the back since Day 1 about the economy AND the stock market. HE has chosen to live or die by both. Just this past week, he told supporters at a rally that they HAD to vote for him or their 401k's would tank.

Taking him at his own word, Trump owns the losses as well as the wins.

Trump lovers seem unable to distinguish between REPORTING and CAUSING.

Meanwhile the fake economist (but he plays one on TV) Larry Kudlow, was trotted out to all the Sunday shows with platitudes like 'let's practice optimism'.

Itís so much more complicated than any of this, but if Trump and his supporters want credit for the ups, they also have to take credit for the downs. If we hit a recession with a dem in office, the Trumpster types would be calling for the presidentís head. But they will make endless excuses for their guy.

This recession must be the one the radical left wants to create so they can blame Trump for it. The left would like nothing more than to see the economy and job market collapse in order to have an excuse as to why we need their ridiculous socialist nonsense.

The bad news is: Globalist propagandists aka mainstream media are doing their darnedest to create a recession even if the numbers don't support it. That is truly frightening.

The good news is, people have stopped believing the media.

I just heard Larry Kudlow mention that people are spending because consumer confidence and satisfaction (or whatever it's called) is very high BUT they are also starting to save money again, which few have done for years.

Trump pats himself on the back for the success of the US economy.
So do 52.4% of the people.
A recession is the only hope that Dems have left. No recession, no Presidency.

It's pretty funny you cited a RCP poll average in defense of Trump.

Here's another RCP poll average:

Trump overall job approval
Approve: 43.7%
Disapprove: 54.1%

Why?

Did he create a housing bubble by forcing banks to make high risk home loans to people who couldn't afford them or something???

Oh, wait.........that was Obama.
