Are you aware that with the losses of Al Gore, John Kerry, and Hilary Clinton, each time there were considered to be some very suspicious elements casting doubts on the results?
First, within the context of the Constitution, the meaning of college, as in the Electoral College, does not mean a school, but of a group of people organized toward a common goal.
The Electoral College was set up in the Constitution as a compromise between election of the President by a vote in Congress and election of the President by a popular vote of citizens who are eligible to vote. The 12th Amendment expanded voting rights. The result was that the use of the popular vote in the States as the vehicle for selecting electors changed radically.
According to the Constitution, the Founding Fathers determined that every state should be given votes equal to the number of senators and representatives in its U.S. Congressional delegation. This gives two votes for its senators in the U.S. Senate plus a number of votes equal to the number of its members in the U. S. House of Representatives. Therefore, every state has at least three electoral votes because even the smallest states have one representative and two senators.
The number of any additional electoral votes per state is determined by the United States Census which is completed every ten years. After the Census, the number of representatives is reapportioned to reflect any changes in population. That can mean the number of electors each state can vary in different presidential elections"
"So how does the government decide how many electors each state has? That depends on how many seats in Congress a state has, and*that*number depends on the state’s population. The*U.S. Constitution says*that each state is allowed a number of electors “equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress.” Every state has two senators, so every state automatically gets two electors. The distribution of the House of Representatives, in contrast, is determined by population, which leads to the variation in electoral votes for each state. California, for example, is the most populous state in the nation, and has the most members of Congress (two senators and 53 representatives) and therefore the most electoral votes (55). California’s 55 votes are followed in size by Texas’s 38
... so in synopsis the electoral college's electoral power is supposed to be directly proportional to the population of the state and that equals democracy...
they just aren't and that's the problem
They are close but not legitimate
Thus someone in Wyoming has four times the Democratic power that someone in California does and that just "aint right"
Electoral college win = Fake president trump
(Because the system is SUPPOSED to be democratic...but its not)
Its a hustle so people are fooled into believing they are participants in the democratic process

(Because the system is SUPPOSED to be democratic...but its not)
Its a hustle so people are fooled into believing they are participants in the democratic process
Rigged fake election process=fake president
By your logic, since all Presidents were elected under the electoral college, then all Presidents past and present are fake.
Actually fake President Trump works for the big economic concerns like petrochemical big Pharma that kind of thing he doesn't represent the people and that's proven because he got crushed in the Democratic vote
China has used socialism to take our middle-class away and own it themselves
Russia is now more powerful than we are and that's why they kicked Trump out of Syria
America is rocketing downhill and will soon be 3rd or 4th place in world power status we couldn't win a war with either one of those countries today
You'r zero of 5 on your lies and/or extremely ignorant statements. You really need to vacate the USA....African immigrants like you are exactly what we don't need.
Every single morning I wake up and thank God that Donald Trump was elected president. Every single day I wake up and Thank God we didn't continue the slide into socialist oblivion.
By your logic, since all Presidents were elected under the electoral college, then all Presidents past and present are fake.
Bingo. But what do you expect from someone that isn't capable of understanding that if total vote did win the presidency that the campaigns would have be run differently. Assuming that changing the rules of the election would not change the tally for that metric is nothing short of obtuse.
So what you're saying is we can't trust the American people with the Democratic process
then how come every other one of our elections in this country is decided by the Democratic process and the presidential election is the only one that is not
That election is just too important to trust to democracy eh??
The election of the leader of the states is too important to allow one or two states to be able to control the presidency. I just explained that in the text you quoted, so I assume reading comprehension isn't a strong suit of yours.

The electorate is tied to state population. Thus it allows some states more votes, but still allows many smaller states to avoid being overran by large population centers. It was set up exactly to keep huge areas like New York, LA, Chicago etc. from dictating terms to all the smaller states. Thank goodness it was, or we would have been stuck with Hillary.

As to what you feel is legitimate, well that makes up approximately 1,300,000,000 of the population, so your feelings don't trump Trump's election.
