The view of where. Whatís going on in there or here ? Again Reps are enraged with PR flags and Spanish speakers - but you tell me they ok with Yiddish and huge support for the Jews homeland? I know there are ugly things happening over there, but the same as in Honduras - people are suffering- so what then? The debate will always continue because itís not the the country,is the ďthem or usĒ syndrome. We either help all or stay out if everybodyís politics.

And yet, Jewish American voters go Democratic at a rate of about 75%. They've been that way for decades. Doesn't sound like it's going to change much in spite of your rhetoric.

Only 2 Jewish congressional reps are GOP.

Sounds like your thoughts are highly far fetched.

I don't believe anyone has ever attempted to explain it--just to give their biased opinions. Could you please cite the explanations? I don't recall ever seeing one.

But the Ds have made it very clear that they do not consider antisemitism anything of concern, and in fact are enabling it by taking up the defense of anti-Semitic Muslims like Omar and Tlaib.

It will take time, but you'll start to see Jews (the moderates) pull away from the Party, and elect more Republican representatives. And they certainly will not continue to vote for a D president in the numbers we've seen previously.
I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of Jews that you would think they are mindless sheep. They aren't.

They are smart enough to know exactly what kind of bigots are the face of the GOP. They vote Dem because altruism is central to the tenets of their religion. They vote Dem because of the bigotry and anti-semitism they have faced in the past. They vote Dem because they believe in caring about the welfare of others.

What you do not seem to comprehend is that being anti-Netanyahu, and other dictator autocrat-types is not antiSemitic. Many American Jews do not like Netanyahu. That is a fact.

Conservatives have been claiming Jews are leaving the Democratic party for decades. It's not happening. And it is not happening because the GOP will never promote policies that jive with the Jewish religion or with, say, Emma Lazarus. The GOP is making a mockery of the tenets of Judaism.

Yes they have, and as usual try to go TOO FAR TOO FAST. They are often good at boiling the frog slowly (incremental, destructive change), but when they are desperate, their emotion takes over even more, and they've become radical.

It always amazes me how so many minority groups would vote for Democrats.

Blacks vote for the party of slavery, KKK and racism.

Asians vote for the socialism of Democrats which murdered more Asians ever, and Democrats passed more discrimination laws against Asians.

Jews vote for the Nazi party aka Democrats. What do they think Nazism is? National socialism plus racism which are the core of Democrats.

There have been plenty of outspoken Jewish conservatives, like Andrew Breitbart, Michael Savage, Matt drudge, Marc Levin, Ben Stein, Ben Shapiro, Charles Krauthammer (which I always found to be an amusing name for a Jew), etc. Unfortunately, conservative Jews have been in the minority though.

In my experience, growing up and living in the NYC Metro area, I know many conservative Jews. Many of them being in the Law, Medicine, Small Business, and Financial sectors. At least as compared to those in the Entertainment, Arts, Literary, and Education sectors. Also, I find that those native to NJ and Westchester are more likely to be conservative than those from NYC proper, and Long Island. Unfortunately, many from the latter two places move to the former two places.

As far as the election map goes, I think that even if Jews became more conservative, in the states of NY, NJ, and CA, it would still not be enough people to change the outcome. There are far too many liberals of other ethnicities to overcome. But, in a state like Florida, which is a swing state with a fair amount of Jews, it could make the difference. A republican needs to win Florida to win a national election, while the other 3 states are already baked into the cake.

The things that former liberal, Lawyer, Harvard Professor, Alan Dershowitz has been saying lately, has made me hopeful.

This, coming from me, a secular conservative Jew.

My Jewish values are incongruous with what the Republican party represents.

Furthermore, I am concerned with the anti-semitic words of some on the left, but am far more concerned with the anti-semitic deeds found on the right.

People typically call themselves "mindless sheep".
