Another difference is Steve King is patriotic and wants to conserve American conservative culture. Omar and Tlaib hate America and want to transform it.

What about the Likud party? Most of them are still loyal to that one! *rimshot*

Considering how many stand-up comedians your people pump out, I find it ironic how dreadfully lacking in sense of humor most of you are in here!

You have no business calling out others for deficiency in sense of humor.

The Squad doesn't represent the D party --- yet. The questions for Jews and politics is do they represent the not too distant future of the party when it comes to policy toward Israel [yes] and anti-Semitism in general, and will Jews leave the party if they do [no, except for older Jews].

Why should every sub-group have a homeland? There are dozens of Arab countries, at least five or six in the Levant. Why not carve some territory out of Jordan, Iraq or Saudi Arabia? Why only Israel? And why won't those countries absorb any Palestinian population?

What you're overlooking is the rapid growth of religious Jews (the Orthodox average around 8 kids). They will thus represent a greater percentage of overall Jews and the breakdown of the Jewish vote will become more Roeublican overall.

As far as whether secular Jews (over age 30) will leave the party, it depends on now blatant the antisemitism becomes. The far-left will stick with the Dems, but the moderates will become more concerned - especially if the anti-Israel stance emboldens antisemites and/or they see Israel being put at risk of destruction completely. Most adult secular Jews want Israel to continue to exist.

I do agree that young, secular Jews - particularly in the few years following college - will remain Dems no matter what.

....especially since Jordan lost land when they attacked Israel. I say Jordan should carve out space and take the Palestinians, but they don't want them. We can conjecture as to why that might be.
