Because it's a shaky little video that shows a small segment of some sort of riot. You don't see how the action began, and you don't see how it ended and thus you can draw no conclusions. You don't even know when and where this was taken.
The nearly 2 hour video showed all of that. That was from a security camera. Youtube pulled it. The clip I posted was taken from the saved youtube video (before youtube deleted it), and enhanced for clarity. Again, millions have seen the 2 hour video, including myself. It shows exactly what I said happened. An antifa sociopathic mob was attacking any car with out-of-state license plates, without provocation, throughout Charlottesville that day regardless of whether or not they were U VA students or students with their families. And that is EXACTLY the antifa sociopaths' modus operandi: mindless violent attacks without provocation.

It's not a matter of defending Fields. There's a legal concept known as chain of causation. In order to find who's ultimately responsible, both criminally and in regards to liability, for the tragic accident that day, one has to look at the actions that caused it. Brownell v.
