It's enough to make any masked man crazy!

The Neo Nazis have marched peacefully time and time again without incident in America. Real life, in the flesh and blood Nazis and fascists.

In Portland, we can see videos of otherwise peaceful right wing demonstrators, most of which would disavow Nazism and KKK ideology, and they are attacked and provoked time and time again. The unbiased crowd in America sees who the real brownshirts are. They are the ones who cowardly hide behind masks, chuck hammers and people, and use pipes because they are no match fist to fist. The far left has become everything they claim to stand against.

Yes Antifa violence should be condemned too. But donít pretend that the Proud Boys are Boy Scouts who just act in self defense.

This is like if Antifa went to Huntsville, AL.
Huntsville is actually pretty progressive for Alabamy. It's almost a 50/50 split. More like going to Mobile. Those guys are rabid.

The days when any group will peacefully allow itself to be beaten up by the other group are gone for good. They ended with the Occupy demonstrations of 2008. Ever since then, fighting back has become the rule of the day for both sides in a demonstration.

That doesn't always mean a fight will always break out, however. There have been many more peaceful demonstrations than violent demonstrations since 2008.

The only reason why the Proud Boys wanted this march was to have a chance to go after the antifa, and the only reason the antifa were there was to have at the Proud Boys. There was no big political motivation in any of this.

Portland was chosen because in the past, the cops have always stayed out of the fray. But this time, the cops were out in force, and they had county and state reinforcements. The Portlandians have grown tired of the fracas.

Since there are lots of other, more permissive, cities in the northwest, I fully expect one of them will become the new Portland very soon.
