From the video “last year, the city of San Francisco experienced 31,000 smash and grab thefts. Less than 2% were solved.”

Take those same people that stole those things and then multiply them times a few hundred thousand and then you have Detroit and Baltimore.

Quick tip, if you have van or SUV with rear door if it doesn't lock automatically when driving make sure it's locked. While I was in DC once at red light someone walked behind the van and lifted the handle trying to get in while we were stopped. I'd imagine they targeted us because of the plates knowing there was likely luggage and other items in the back. Door was locked though. This was in broad daylight not too far from the zoo.

Fun tip: 12 volts and 650 amps is painful.

The fact that this is a story shows, imho, how the media think they are a special class, and immune from crime.

I virtually always get bashed by some other posters while writing this, but why in the world would anyone want the the rest of U.S. towns to be like the downtown urban areas of Los Angeles or San Francisco in ANY way?
