I scratch my head when the "ruling elite" is brought up. Who is this ruling elite? The Bush family? They gave us Iraq. Houseing crash? Deregulation gave us that. Obamacare? Well that was a weird mix of responsibility.
Oh perhaps power brokers? Sure.
But where does trust come into it? No one is suggesting trust as a good basis for decision making.

Again Trump is the ultimate ruling elite. He gets to veto rules he don't like, a billionaire who wouldn't roll with the little guy, he wouldn't be caught dead socializing with you and most of his supporters, except at a rally.
