There are self-loathing people of all races and religions. Personally I think it's a form of mental illness.

Jews in Israel feel safer with Trump giving the nation unconditional support. Jews in America feel less safe with the increased racism, bigotry, and hatred that Trump has helped bring about.

But seriously this why some people are suspicious and paranoid of them. You come to them as a friend, ally and admirer and they side with your enemy or with ideas that are anathema.
People are suspicious and paranoid of Jews? Do tell. I no of exactly NO ONE who is but I can imagine White Nationalists are quite paranoid.

They seem to be suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. For some, politics and partisanship comes before all else.

...not sure if it's mental illness, could be...having an ingrained victim mentality tends to lead one to side with the perceived victim, regardless of the circumstances...

Not everyone is sane.

Why do people call Trump antiSemitic? Because of much of what he has said and done as the real Trump, not the moment-in-time screenshot of the last two years.

Other Jews feel differently than the OP.

“The Jews Are Tired.” It’s an all-purpose response for Gentile ****ery—speaking for Jews, about Jews, around Jews, against Jews, utilizing us without our consent or input. Black background, white letters: The Jews Are Tired..."

And after the past few days, in which a fleet of Republicans and the president himself have utilized Jews as human shields for racist rhetoric, the Jews are tired, tired, tired of being used as defenses against naked racism, tired of being used to justify conditions at detention camps. Just plain tired."

And that famous Trump sentiment:

"..John O'Donnell, the former president of the Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, said Trump had told him: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day."

Trump has a history of retweeting openly antisemitic Twitter accounts, including one labeled "white genocide" that bookended the anti-Hillary cartoon he retweeted with cartoons of Bernie in a gas chamber and other antisemitic and simply filthy content. He invited an antisemitic cartoonist to his White House social media summit. And let's not forget the lukewarm approach he's had to the rise of white nationalists, many of whom support him.

I think Omar and Tlaib are antisemitic. I also think they've been called out for it, held to task, and apologized. Where is Trump's apology?

Not sure what his daughter and son in law have to do with anything. My brother's in-laws are wildly antisemitic. They love him, though, because he's a "good Jew." They're huge supporters of Israel - they're just waiting for me to move there so the messiah will come. I don't trust people who, upon hearing I'm Jewish, immediately start talking about Israel - it's a red flag. As an American Jew, Israel falls so far down my list of political priorities that it's not really even a thought.
