Lose everything, probably have a month to get back on your feet. After that you might stay homeless. If you cant get help, no shower, no clean clothes, no shave, no address? Good luck getting a job. Things become hopeless and your situation might end up driving you to depression and mental illness. End up using drugs to escape.

We might say that would never be us but life has a way of saying “well what if this happened?”

Hispanics in my area or living 5-10 in an apartment to make ends meet. Most low wage jobs are on a bus route. Many of us commute up to 90 min each way for work.

Trying to scatter them all over the state isn't working.
House them all in one location, and have enough staff on hand to take care of them.
Money could come from city, county, state, and the federal governments to once and for all, get these people off the street, where they can benefit with all the resources devoted to their care, and well being.
This is the ONLY way this homeless situation will ever be solved.

Bob.
Concentration camps? How could you?

Sorry - I couldn't resist...

I just think multiple things have to happen. They aren't all useless, and a good part of them has to be put back to some form of employment... but that has to be coupled with lowering business operation costs to make employment more possible - you know, like has happened over a good part of the country.

Thats skid row essentially. And it’s why it’s so bad.
Scattering them is actually better. Because congregating them becomes a hunting ground for dealers.

They are making it work even though it is obviously not optimal.

Hopefully they are here legally... hopefully...

90 min one way... ugh, makes for a long day.

Definitely commendable for doing what needs to be done.

Are you sure you're not watching liberal "gun control" fanatics?

Yep! It could happen to anyone. Dr. Drew should take the lead, as he is right on.
