MAGAs absolutely HATE being called out on their socialist tendencies.

And the C-D mods absolutely HATE when I do it.

And Trump has proven on guns--both in action and rhetoric--that he is just another leftist Democrat.
So you are saying the Democrats have failed the last 40 years in accomplishing and kind of gun reform....guess it takes the GOP to get things done....

Interesting dynamic though. The GOP is getting stuff done at the Federal level, but statewide the Democrats have a much higher success rate passing firearms restrictions.
And, if you really look at what each passed, the dems restrictions were far more encroaching. The GOP's awb was a pia, but people were still buying AR's all through that time.
As far as hypocrisy in politics, gee, tell me something i didn't know, same goes for religion.

The 1986 machine gun ban, courtesy of Reagan, was arguably the biggest violation of property rights since the NFA.

I also love throwing out Reagan quotes regarding guns:

"I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home."

"There’s no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons."

Then there's his support of the Brady Bill:

https://www.nytimes.com/1991/03/29/o...rady-bill.html

Yet GOPers worship this leftist goon.

Not until I can buy unlimited quantities of fully-automatic machine guns without a license or a background check.

MAGA!
A lot of people have socialist tendencies, on both sides. I think most of us have only known socialist programs from the day we were born to now.

I do not agree with Social Security.

I do not agree with public schooling.

I do not agree with Red Flag laws.

I do not agree with any type of weapons ban or even background checks. (I'm sure that will trigger some people.)

I do not agree with socialized healthcare.

I do not agree with government backed student loans, nor do I agree with free college.

I do not agree with the government being involved in much at all beyond protecting our country - cause that's what they are supposed to be doing.

The only thing I fail at when it comes to socialized anything is I do believe in some sort of assistance for those who either can't help themselves, or have fallen on hard times. However, it doesn't mean I believe in the way it's being done right now.

And I will still vote, no matter how hard No Recess tries to convince me not to.

Its strange that ban is still in place, especially when its been effective as any other gun control ban!! LOL

Full auto/machine guns is something the people should have stood their ground for.

I agree with everything you listed--except for the last one. Theft is still theft and force is still force, and no one has the right to the fruits of my labor--no matter what the circumstance.

Blame the Fudds at the NRA. Just as it's their fault Trump banned bump stocks.
