Well, I was actually being serious. Given that collaboration is a very human survival asset, why can't that society be whatever is desired by those forming it? You think women's advancement came about by being granted by the oh-so-superior dudes out of the goodness of their hearts? There is a model of a family that works quite well where partner... well partner.

Even with we found 100 ancient societies that are or would be considered a matriarchal society today, the societal patriarchy card would likely still be freely pulled by some extreme feminists.
