I mean, seriously:

"I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home."

"There’s no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons."

Then there's his support of the Brady Bill:

https://www.nytimes.com/1991/03/29/o...rady-bill.html

And the 1994 "assault" weapons ban:

On economics and civil liberties, one only has to read the classic evisceration of his Presidency by the great Murray Rothbard:

In reality, this is very little different from how MAGAs look the other way regarding Trump's socialist economic policies, his enormous budgets, and his gun grabbing. Just as how Obama apologists looked the other way at his war crimes and his domestic spy programs.

If Ronald Reagan were still around today, would he be considered a RINO?

The answer is Yes.

Reaganism is dead but before it died it begot Trumpism. Trumpism emerged from the body of Reaganism like the alien from the Alien movies.

Reaganism and Trumpism both derive from Stalinism.

Bushism and Obamaism both derive from Trotskyism.

Either way, Marxism has been forced on us.

OP has a problem with Guatemalan babies being massacred at St. Ronnie's behest?

Wimp.

P.S. Never sell Bonzo's co-star short when it comes to spying. Obama-level? Probably handicapped by lesser technology but never forget Executive Order 12333 which had more teeth than the Patriot Act, in some areas, 20 years prior to 9/11.

He was also the originator of NAFTA, which Republicans like to blame Democrats for now?

He was one of our worst presidents and set us on this path of unrecoverable deficit and debt.

President Reagan's tax cuts not only helped corporations, but individual taxpayers and small businesses as well. Reagan reduced federal regulations, lowered barriers to free trade, worked on a bipartisan basis to strengthen the solvency of social security, and he renominated Paul Volcker has Federal Reserve Chairman after he successfully increased interest rates to stop hyperinflation.

Today, Donald Trump's tax reform package has only given small tax relief to small businesses and individuals. He has failed to repeal Dodd-Frank and the employer mandate in the Affordable Care Act. He has increased barriers to free trade. He has refused to consider reforming a single entitlement program. He nominated a Federal Reserve Chairman who has maintained a failing status-quo on monetary policy.

We don't, it's just easy for ignorant people to claim that we do as just another way to blindly bash people.
