Judicial Watch does real investigative reporting, unlike lazy, activist mainstream media hacks.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is well known for doling out huge sums to controversial and highly questionable global causes. A few examples reported by Judicial Watch over the years include:

$55 million to build a mere 816 houses in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake
$24.5 million to circumcise males in Swaziland
$20 million to develop a Pakistani version of Sesame Street
$10 million to train Filipinos to work in Asian call centers that serve U.S. businesses.

USAID is nothing more than yet another way for the US to project soft power.

It is by design to be wasteful.

Not a single dime of US tax money should be given to any foreign government, agency or organization. PERIOD.

It's run by the CIA.

Those are foreign service officers (an Orwellian way of saying "spies").

Their MO is "front groups."

The front group "appears" to be a legitimate organization doing whatever it professes to do, but what it really does is clandestine and designed to carry out whatever agenda the US has.

Your "pro-democracy" groups in the Middle East were front groups for clandestine entities, and Bush and Obama through USAID and other US agencies funneled money into them for Arab Spring.

So, you pretend to be an organization that "empowers women" or some other lofty goal when in fact you're actually a front for a clandestine group and the money from USAID and other agencies is used to support political candidates the US controls and fund terror groups and activities to purchase weapons and supplies.

That's how it works.

The money is funneled for projects that benefit American corporations in foreign countries. A few crumbs make their way to poor people, but those projects receive subsidies and tax exception the local poor people end up paying. I looked it up a few days ago, USAID work closely with many American companies so they get access to infrastructure and logistic assistance. A big scam in the name of helping the poor.

The article is nothing worth reading. Real investigation goes as far as millions of dollars going in the pockets of rich people and corporations.

You forgot to mention into the pockets of politicians. Why do you think they are always giving away billions of dollars of our money to third world s**t holes which never seem to improve?
