Deutsche Bank has confirmed they have Donald Trump's tax returns. The House has subpoenaed them as part of a Russian money laundering investigation, and it looks like they are about to get them.
According to Lawrence O'Donnell, Deutsche Bank made loans to Trump which were guaranteed by Russians close to Putin. This, if true, would be the reason that he has guarded his tax returns since his election. If true, Russia owns Trump, literally and figuratively.

The Trump Organization is comprised of 500 companies. If any of those are LLCs, then the taxes on those are Trump's personal taxes since for an LLC all tax liability for the company flows to the individual(s) that own the company. At any rate, the loans Trump was getting from Deutsche were personal, to him directly, not to his businesses. Nobody trusted them any longer because they defaulted so much.

True, but Trump had defaulted on so many of his loans that very few banks would loan him money any longer. Deutsche Bank was one of the few and even it was making personal, not business loans to Trump. His only option was the Russians.
