That is patently false, but I'll let you have it.

Be careful what you wish for.

An EO would be subjected to so many political and legal challenges it would never happen.

If Trump was serious he would start the amendment process or start a court case fast tracked to SCOTUS.

I am impressed this thread is on page 19 and not one mention of Hillary or Obama.

They may do foolish things but they aren't stupid. This is one issue this administration, and probably every other, wants to avoid.....

You're entitled to your dogmatic nativism and xenophobia, but facts and judicial prescendence are a stubborn thing.

Again, read US vs Wong Kim Ark and get back to us.

Oh BTW, James Ho, a conservative jurist that Trump appointed to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, has been on record as reaffirming birthright citizenship as interpreted to include any person born in the US regardless of the status of his/her parents' nationality.

Is that a first for this forum? Although you ruined the streak....

Why do you say that? I think it's a great idea but Trump can't change it with an executive order. There is this little thing like our Constitution.

No similar federal law was ever passed to include the US-born children of illegal aliens or foreign temporary visitors as birthright citizens.
Again, read United States vs. Wong Kim Ark.

Reaffirms birthright citizenship regardless of parental nationality. Period.

The Supreme Court has never ruled on a case via the Constitution where illegal alien parents gave birth on our soil. Their babies have only been deemed citizens by a PC policy. Try again.

Those who want babies born from illegal aliens parents to be birthright citizens of our country are the ones with an ulterior motive "Paco".
Exactly, let's take anchor baby birth right citizenship to the supreme court the way the left took gay marriage to the Court. Birthright citizenship for illegals is a way bigger and more important issue than dumb gay marriage for a fraction of the population.

Fail

His parents were “legally domiciled” here on some type of work program so they were “subject to the jurisdiction of” and he rightfully gained citizenship

Illegal alien border crossers are not legally domiciled here

Incorrect. WKA ruling:

"The evident intention, and the necessary effect, of the submission of this case to*the decision of the court upon the facts agreed by the parties*were to present for determination*the single question*stated at the beginning of this opinion, namely, whether a child born in the United States, of parent of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China,*but*have a permanent domicil and residence in the United States, and are there carrying on business, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States. For the reasons above stated, this court is of opinion that the question must be answered in the affirmative."

The parents must have a permanent domicile and residence in the U.S. WKA's parents were living in the U.S. legally. Illegal immigrants don't have a permanent domicile in the U.S. because they are in the country illegally. They aren't even supposed to be here at all. Furthermore, it is a federal offense to harbor an illegal alien in the U.S., or aid or abet in their harboring in the U.S. Illegal aliens' permanent domicile is in their home country; the country which would issue their passports were they to have one.
