Agenda much, Mr. "News reporter"?

Wonder when these will become commonly used terms by the MSM?
Did you at least bother to google the term before spouting?

Here's a list of 55 different models of Assault Pistols for sale by a gun shop. https://www.kellyenterprises.net/fir...ilter_product=

And a review of the top 25 ones by a different gun shop.

I'm well aware of the fact they exist.

Neither of the arrested's weapons fit that descrption. Maybe so-called "reporters" should use Google when they get a wild hair to "report facts".

Those are functionally no different than any other semi-automatic handgun. A real sub gun like an Uzi, MP5, or Tec-9 is more than any casual bad guy can afford. We're talking low 5 figures minimum on the second hard market.

You think an assault firearm means it's fully automatic like a sub machine gun? Well, isn't that special.

From the libertarian perspective, this guy is a classic "acceptable to the narrative" victim of tyranny.

His "crimes" are all what I like to call "acts that are annoying to the bureaucracy." Drug crimes are simply prohibition nonsense, as are all "crimes" that are nothing more than possession of and voluntary trade of legitimately acquired/manufactured property. Same with his gun possession "crimes."

These non-crimes are what branded him a felon, thus giving the State every excuse to violate his natural rights that are protected by the 4th and 5th Amendments. This is important because as many an anti-state advocate has pointed out, creating criminals is one of the most important powers the State possesses, because by making everyone guilty of something, they create the excuse to violate your rights whenever the mood strikes them and do so with an air of legitimacy.

But...he looks skeevy, and meth sounds bad, and grenade launcher (with no mention of the zero ammo I guarantee he and almost every other novelty weapon owner actually possesses...ZERO) sounds bad, and liberally sprinkling the words "assault" and "high capacity" around sounds bad. So he becomes a proper villain that is ripe for oppression that makes the other plebes believe a few things Leviathan needs them to believe:
  • crimes that annoy the bureaucracy are severe, evil and among the worst things anyone can ever do
  • only horrible people commit crimes against the bureaucracy
  • all gun owners are this guy, or have the potential to be, and you should be scared and put your faith in government that we are keeping our eye on all of them
  • the state will find and punish those who annoy them, or may even pose the possibility thereof
  • you're all better off when they find these skeevy, bad people and violate their individual rights, and that includes anyone who owns guns because as already mentioned, they are all like this guy
  • your safety and security trumps (no pun, just proper word) your natural rights, so just accept the broken eggs that made the omelet.
Why do you think Eric Garner died for selling loose cigarettes? Big, scary black guy makes easy villain. Push the state's "we rule all" narrative with a proper villain. Same thing here. They found someone who simply looks and sounds scary as hell and violated his rights ten ways from Sunday, but it's a win because he satisfies so many culturally accepted stereotypes.

And most of you are so blind you cannot recognize the real threat in this story or any like it.

Seems almost every day another one is caught. And Tucker Carlson said they are a hoax. Fox needs to drop that bozo.
You can come out of your safe place little fella. That big bad person who you'd never come in contact with is off the streets.

White supremacy is not a problem except for the those who want to create fake drama.
