should it happen or should people have the right to regulate their own vices?

as you were freedom lovin GOP'ers
So they are concerned with vaping and Ecigs, but regular cigarettes, well, they must be OK then!!

Id like to ask him where the concern is for cigarette smoking in general in KY? Why does the DEA or other narco LE not target tobacco? Nicotine is a drug by definition, so its within their jurisdiction, if 500K people die from it every year and they are doing NOTHING...they at least need to answer some questions on why they are not doing anything.

It can sell the excess to the global market. Meanwhile the child laborers on farms still get nicotine poisoning through skin contact.

Smoking tobacco is all negative. Not a single redeeming quality.

Schedule 1:
drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse

That sounds like an excellent definition of tobacco and nothing to do with marijuana.

The very fact that medical marijuana exists should have gotten it delisted immediately.

What difference does it make? Do you own your body or does a suit in D.C. own it?

Actually, big tobacco supports this as an alternative to flavor and advertising restrictions.

Plus, in years past the tobacco companies did the EXACT same thing as what pharma companies did with opioid drugs regarding abuse potential...they lied to the public about it!!!

one big difference though, the public demonized the pharma companies for it, but gave tobacco a pass...for doing the same thing??? I dont get it?!

Its pretty clear that tobacco has MUCH better lobbyists than the pharma groups though!

Adult should mean adult in every case. Pick the age, and upon (but only upon) reaching that age you can drink, vote, smoke, buy a handgun, sign a contract, join the military etc. 16 to vote, 18 to join the military and 21 to buy a pack of cigarettes is ridiculous.
