The problem is the 24 hour news cycle that constantly needs something to report and this clueless numbskull with verbal diarrhea is always there to give it to them.
She won the primary, which in her district is essentially the election, with less than 16,000 votes.
That she, along with the one that wears a Depends on her head, and the PLO rep are symbols of how far this country has fallen.
Terrible days ahead.

No one cares what she says outside of those in her district. Why defend someone you don’t even know?
Again this strategy is a loser.

He has plenty of time to find better targets.

AOC, Al Sharpton, and MTV's Franchesca Ramsey should be in a rap band called "Race-Baiters".

Republicans repudiate detestable people. Democrats embrace them so long as they are predictably progressive.

How did the left and beyond that the Democratic Party manage before AOC took office 8 months ago?? They had other leaders. Including official leaders.

There were almost 66 million adults who voted for Hillary Clinton. How many know or care what AOC thinks? 10-20%? I rarely check what she is saying or doing.

There are 279 other Democratic Senators and Congresspersons. With few exceptions, they are not "following " AOC. I'll check what some of them are saying / doing. Usually the leaders with positions and track records of elevated influence with peers and maybe even accomplishment.

Call me when AOC passes a significant bill in the House, much less passes one into law.

Yeah she has a significant voice, especially in the media / internet. Maybe she pushed the rhetoric of the Presidential campaign left. But when it comes down to details and actions, I don't know that she will be anything more than on sidelines. At least for next few years.
