It is true that wealthy people leave a much bigger carbon footprint than the average joe. We aren't flying around on private jets; own 10 cars, etc.
Nooo... but a climate crusader buying a home with a 10 foot elevation on an island kinda, sorta does!

As of 2018, Barack Obama’s net worth was about $40 million, from projects like speaking engagements and books as well as the six-figure pension granted to all past presidents, according to a GoBankingRates calculation.

But given Michelle Obama’s bestselling hit “Becoming” — and the lucrative book tour that accompanied it — it’s estimated the couple is actually worth more than $135 million. (Their production deal with Netflix to produce films, announced in May, is another boon to the coffers.)
As for the house? nice place befitting a former President, good job Barack and Michelle.

Obviously, they want to enjoy the beach life in the next 12 years (or are we down to 10 now?) before the island is swallowed up by melting icebergs.

The amount of sea water displaced by an iceberg is equal to its weight, kinda like an ice cube in a glass of liquid doesnt raise the level of liquid as it melts.

I guess all those talks about reducing carbon footprints and rich people living too extravagantly was all just B.S.? They're definitely the most disingenuous liars to ever leech off our political system.

"Do as I say but not as I do" - This should be the motto for the modern day democrat party.
Who knew that being an expert at redistributing money, running up debt, apologizing to the world, starting wars in the Middle East, and race baiting here at home could be so profitable?

Default Cover up?

Why were all the bad things in Obama's life covered up by the main stream media. Did we ever see a photo of his parents? Or his impoverished brother back in the old country?

95%+ of the Media are just Propagandists for the Democrats, especially the ones they want to get elected.

Obama bought a house that he worked for and earned the money to buy. He's popular and in-demand for speaking and advice the world over. He and his wife are also best-selling authors--they deserve every cent they make. Hilarious that Obama haters are 'outraged' enough for a 17-page thread.

Obama haters are angry that the Obamas can afford a $15 million house, but not that we, the United State taxpayers have financed Trump's Maralago and golf outings to the tune of $108,000,000.00--so far.

Obama haters cheered when Trump hugely lied to them and said he would never leave the WH to play golf.

But a former president buys a house and that is cause for great outrage!
