the Obamas negotiated a massive $65 million joint book deal, the biggest in presidential history. ..
And if its profits weren’t enough, the Obamas also signed a lucrative production contract with Netflix, the first of its kind for a former first family. Though a specific dollar amount was not made public, Netflix is famous for its generous production deals.
You just describe 90% of the people in the public view on both both sides of the political spectrum, heck most people at large are hypocrites. Rich hollywood liberals and politicians rail about gun control and carbon footprint as they fly in their private jets to their mansions guarded by armed security. Rich conservative rail about self sufficiency and responsibility as they push for tax incentives and bail outs of themselves and their constituency.
I mean Trump does tell people how to live their lives. Including telling Jewish voters like me that voting for a Democrat is being disloyal to one self.
I hope you realize that both presidents are scum who take advantage of their roles.
Most leftwing "jews" could hardly be described as actual jews. The majority don't follow the religion or the culture, they're mostly secularist atheists. There really isn't much of anything that is jewish about them except maybe knowing a few yiddish words or ocassionaly exclaiming their "jewish identity" whenever it's politically convenient to do so.
Well now the Obamas can be like those other wealthy Dems telling you how the rich are stealing your money.
We have never begun to tax the people in this country the way they should be ... I don't pay what I should. People in my class don't. People who have it should pay.

Got to strike while the iron is hot. Obama was a popular President.
The longer he's out of office the less he can command.
I don't begrudge him. I think it's a very smart move on their part. They should rake it in while they can. Then invest all that money and never need to worry about work again.
But Trump isn't telling people to lower their living standards like the Obama's have been.
So you admit it, Obamas are honest, and Trump is doing it on the sly?
Jokes aside, did Obama really tell people to lower their standard of living? Got a clip of that? I recall him wanting to make common sense environmental rules, but never (like AOC) telling people they need to downsize.
Trump, OTOH, is actively trying to lower the standard of living for the vast majority of Americans to support his, and his croanie friends lavish lifestyle. It's one of the few things he's not overly loud and boastful about, which is surpising because it's also one of the very few things he's succeeding at...
That's still not enough to afford over 20 million in homes. Are they over extending themselves like they told others not to do? I bet it's more than likely they got sweetheart deals like nobody else could get. That half white privilege is working nice for him eh?
I'm betting he gets paid for honorariums at various prestigious educational institutions across the US and perhaps throughout the world. Obama could very well pull in $500K for a half hour discussion at say Berkeley or Stanford, on how the white man kept the blacks down throughout history and how he was able to overcame all that.
