Nothing is keeping you from buying a firearm **. I live within sight of the border too and until we got our section of border wall this place was a highway from hell of criminals coming up. Feel lucky you don't live in areas mostly comprised of illegals.

** unless you are also here illegally

Well, there is a HUGE difference between kids who TALK about doing things...and those who actually have the means to carry them out!

There was also a 13 year old boy, a 14 year old boy, a 15 year old girl, two juveniles (too young to even publish their ages).

I'm kinda thinking that not many mass shootings have been prevented. It's great theater, but, I'd think that subsequent shootings are going to have really limited Social Media exposure until just before event, when a flurry of posts will be made with zero response time available.

It's kind of worrying too, what's a terroristic threat? I mean the legal definition, because there's a lot being charged with that, like for instance the 15 year old girl, posting a pic of a Walmart gun case and a couple of rifles, captioned "don't come to school tomorrow", threat, joke of political statement? Could be any.
