I think he only wants American companies to come together and support America. (a lot of power there)

If people want to continue supporting a country that freely admits that they steel American IP's (as well as other countries).
If people want to continue supporting a country who's actions are equal to the drug loads of South America.

Then go ahead and tell us how bad Trump is.

With the order in his tweet, President Trump signaled to both private business carriers and the USPS that import from foreign nations to tighten down on their own screening practices or face having the international import side of their business come to either a screeching halt or at least a crawl while federal officials open and screen each and every package that is shipped from foreign nations. President Trump, just like any other President would, has the authority to make that a reality.
The difference is, as a sovereign individual, I refuse to accept Presidential authority, as he has none.

It's a beautiful thing.

You know bolshies, he's picking battles you can't win. It's probably best to stick to men-in-dresses and environmental issues, at least the last one doesn't make you look silly.
Actually their hand-wringing over "environment issues" does make them look silly. While they wring their hands and fret over the environment, they are encouraging illegals to come here. More people means more strain on our natural resources. IOW, they talk out of both sides of their mouths.

It's not the goal of a business to “support America.” It's to make profit.

Socialism is cancer.

Maybe he is realizing that things are not going the way he planned, be it with China, be it with foreign politics. Debt is high, a recession looming. I heard yesterday that his approval rating is down to 36%.

Uh, Companies have been multi-national for 100 years. 400 Years actually, but I am talking more about most Major American Companies. Telling GE or Boeing or Apple or Merck to be "American" is a joke. The Saudis own the GE Plastics plants near here - the Chinese own the largest pork producer in USA.

There are no Americans companies except perhaps the guy who fixes my A/C, but he also uses parts and tools from all over the world.

Have you created some kind of a fantasy where there are economic borders between nations? Long gone....gone at the time of even our founding.

The North kicked the ass of the South by blockading them. That was 150 years ago. There are many earlier examples.

When you folks want to come into the modern century we can talk...but as long as you pursue Realty TV stuff as real, it's virtually impossible.

If the Dear Leader told everyone to sell all their stocks in the next week and stop working for Chinese companies (Smithfield Farms, Volvo in SC and 100's more), would you do so? You'd need to end the existence of Wall Street and Chicago and every other market to even start...and the USA would turn to Mad Max.

1st sentence is absolutely true. But with that simple logic, during WW11 ( or) it would be fine by you for american companies to make & sell ammunition to the enemy.

He does seem to be more erratic than usual, if that is possible. Like a spinning top that starts to wobble, the result is predictable.
