My objection to RBG is that she has been sleeping through SCOTUS oral arguments for decades and subsequently relies on her clerks to "determine" her position. That isn't how it should be.

Yuck, yuck, yuck. As did the op, whom I directed the point and question, you fail - miserably I might add - to even try to support your assertions. The last sentence particularly underscores the flabbiness of your flatulence. All gas, zero substance.

That is extreme. And is a death sentence for the working class.

Hate many of her rulings, don't hate her. Wish her success. We all have to die but pancreatic cancer is a painful way to go.

That's an interesting viewpoint. It is one that I had never considered.

I still see John Roberts as a traitor to conservatism. RBG would never be a traitor to any liberal cause.

Sure she would, if one of the clerks who's writing all her opinions decided to be a traitor a liberal cause. She's done.

She still seems sharp enough so I'd wager that she's reviewing, guiding, and signing off on anything presented to her by the law clerks. Now, there have been some Supreme Court justices in the past who really were not doing their work due to mental incapacitation, but she doesn't seem to be there. Yet.

I'll agree that she may be sharp for an 86 year old.

But she hardly seems sharp for a Supreme Court Justice.

I don't know. The Supreme Court issues a few dozen opinions across the entire year. They'll meet to issue stays and what not throughout the year, but that's done via email. Otherwise, the justices spend their time researching, traveling, teaching, and speaking. It really is a sweet gig if you're lucky enough to get it and one where you don't seem to over exert yourself. I think she's sharp enough for the gig, even at her age.

If you have ever gone through chemo and or radiation, you would know that statement is not true.

My hat is off to Ginsberg (I am a conservative) to keep working, even when affected by cancer. I am sure she is compromised, but only she can say whether it is enough to cloud her judgement or not.

Nonetheless it is good she is not just rolling over and succumbing to her disease. I know well what her end result will be, but at least she is hanging in there.
