WASHINGTON (AP) — Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has completed radiation therapy for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas and there is no evidence of the disease remaining, the Supreme Court said Friday.
Or it was.

She is literally the luckiest cancer survivor ever.

The tumor is malignant and no further treatments are needed at this time, so says two news sources.

She'll hang on through the end of next year, then once the maniac is booted out she can retire at her leisure.

From one human to another--I'm happy for her. But she still needs to step down for the better of the country.

Not sure she'll make it at this point. She seems to have a new cancer or old cancer reappear every few months now. She must practically live at the hospital to survive and this is malignant.

Seems unlikely:

Survival Rates
According to the American Cancer Society, for all stages of pancreatic cancer combined, the one-year relative survival rate is 20%, and the five-year rate is 7%. These low survival rates are attributable to the fact that fewer than 20% of patientsí tumors are confined to the pancreas at the time of diagnosis; in most cases, the malignancy has already progressed to the point where surgical removal is impossible.

In those cases where resection can be performed, the average survival rate is 23 to 36 months. The overall five-year survival rate is about 10%, although this can rise as high as 20% to 35% if the tumor is removed completely and when cancer has not spread to lymph nodes.

Sad to hear but that's usually how these things go..luck or not.
Maybe she'll retire so she can spend her last days in peace and with her family ?
