Thats just a silly argument. Trade deals are not negotiated based on one item only. Trump is advocating production to be moved to countries with worse labor standards and intellectual property protection than China in other parts of Asia! This isnt about protecting you!

The thriving middle class was destroyed by the corrupt oligarchy that you and Trump support. He hates labor and most certainly does not want to give labor a seat at the table in any trade negotiations. Blaming foreigners and immigrants is just a classic distraction tactic used by the oligarchy when inequality gets out of hand.

Invade Brazil so we can dictate what they can do with their (our) land.

Of course. Trump's got all his clothing brands made in China. What a hypocrite! His business model is to not pay people and to hire illegal immigrants at Mar A Lago. Within the next month, there will be shocking stuff revealed about him. I never wish evil on anyone, but people can bring consequences on themselves and for the first time in his life he is going to have to pay the consequences of his choices.

A feedback loop in which the forest begins to dry and burn in a cascading system collapse.
Its in Brazil. Go there and convince the people not to do any more burning.

Also, the liberal zeal for "alternative energy" is driving this. Much of that land is converted to raising switch grass for biofuels.

The AGW liberal movement is eco-terrorism.

I have suggested bombing in the past. You have to kill a few trees to save a forest, but its worth it.

scientists warn that losing another fifth of the rainforest in Brazil will trigger a dieback.
Well, there goes any hope of stalling "climate change" with any of the Dem candidates' trillion dollar plans. Brazil sunk that talking point.

Brazil could have avoided this whole PR mess if they had just announced they were clear-cutting for a new solar-road!
