Trump is a lame duck. He's sowed seeds of a recession and the Chinese have zero reasons to negotiate through 11/7/2020

We should be very concerned about what destructive actions Trump and his lackeys will take, during November 2020 and through to Jan 20, 2021. He'll officially be a lame-duck then and he could wreak havoc with his reprisals for being defeated. As he obviously doesn't care a whit about this country and 99% of its people, we should brace ourselves for the worst. If we survive that, legislation should be enacted to limit the powers of lame-ducks, during their final days in office. It is very fortunate that the Democrats have control of the House, which will make it more difficult for him to trash our country.

IIRC, the Trump Signature Collection of ties and other attire are still made in China. Hell, them MAGA hats are still made in China.

Be clear -- both Clinton & Trump campaigned on addressing China's trade policies.

The problem is with the 'tactics' being used and the effectiveness of those tactics.

So far two and a half years in -- almost three -- and we aren't any closer to resolving those issues.

Until Trump gets a deal -- claiming he is 'winning' is a bit premature.

All this Opinion piece really means is that CNN is much more open-minded than they are given credit for, and a guy from the Trump Admin is pro-Trump policies. Not much more. Trump only appoints loyal guys that fawn.

In fact, this guy thinks the Socialist wealth redistribution to the farmers is a good thing! Like a selling point. It is not a good thing to give people money because the guy in charge made a policy that is harmful to them. And if it were Californians or cities being hurt, Trump would not give a crap. He's bribing them for votes.

..."He served as senior associate counsel and special assistant to the president in the Office of White House Counsel during the Trump administration...."

It's called an opinion piece. Perhaps you've heard of them.

Except your post fails unless you are claiming that you would actually drive to a Walmart in the U.S. (the closest one is over 65 miles from Montreal in Plattsburgh, NY) rather than go to one in Montreal, and people would actually believe that.
